Beneficial Advice from Shaykh al-Uthaymeen-

📝نصيحة من الشيخ العثيمين -رحمه الله تعالى- Advice from Shaykh al-Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy upon him) ○ إذا ورد النهي فاجتنبه ولا تسأل هل هو للتحريم أو للكراهة؟ If a prohibition is reported (in narration) then avoid it, and do not ask if this prohibition means a forbiddance or a (matter that is) disliked. ○ وإذا ورد الأمر فاتبعه ولا تسأل هل هو للوجوب أو للاستحباب؟ And if a command is reported (in a narration), then follow it and do not ask if this command means an obligation or a recommendation. فالصحابة رضي الله عنهم كانوا إذا أمرهم الرسول -صلى الله عليه وسلم-  بشيء لا يقولون يا رسول الله هل قصدت الوجوب أو الاستحباب يفعلون مباشرة. The companions - may Allah be pleased with them - when the messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) ordered them with something, they did not say: did you intend (by this command) an obligation or recommendation, they acted (upon it) immediately. ○ وأشد الناس انقياداً لأمر الله ورسوله هم أقوى الناس إيماناً . The most submissive people to the command of Allah and His messenger are the strongest of the people in terms of faith ﴿إِنَّمَا كَانَ قَوْلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَنْ يَقُولُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ﴾ [النور:51]" “The only saying of the faithful believers, when they are called to Allah (His Words, the Quran) and His Messenger, to judge between them, is that they say: "We hear and we obey."
